WeCan!

WeCan! (Ways to Enhance Children’s Activity & Nutrition) is a national education program from the National Institutes of Health designed to give parents, caregivers, and entire communities a way to help children 8 to 13 years old stay at a healthy weight.

Supported by four NIH Institutes, the We Can! program provides science-based tips, tools, educational programming, and training to families and communities to help them encourage healthy eating, increased physical activity, and reduced time sitting in front of the screen (TV or computer). Share Our Strength partners with WeCan! to offer Cooking Matters programming to families in the WeCan! network across the U.S.
